their Daughter Grace and her boyfriend drove down to pick her up and take her back to Penn. to join “Tucker” the Elwood’s tri colored boy they adopted from us years ago . The pair were the same age from different litters and got to play together as puppies here before he went home.

Grace got to see sunny when Tucker stayed with us one summer to sire litters for us , so it was so neat she was able to come adopt her from us !

they got to meet our boy Happy who was just a puppy last time Grace was here .

Cody and his wife Neffie raised Sunny when she was little and we decided to keep her for Breeding , she often slept with the kids , so he says goodbye to sweet sunny and wishes her a great pet life now.

he tells them , sunny loves a good belly rub !!

they gather her things and get ready for the trip home

Cody’s wife Neffie comes out to say her goodbyes to Sunny Bunny too

when she got into their car on the bed and blanket they brought she spent a lot of time sniffing the scent of her boyfriend “Tucker” on them…
this is a great way for her to reacquaint herself with his scent before they arrive with her 🙂

they made it home safe and let us know she is doing great! She is sleeping in her new crate they got her and taking walks with Tucker now!

they told us she fits right in !

she loves attention and is loving her new family

Renee said their son is enjoying sunny alot, this made Cody feel good 🙂

( Looks like she is all “Tuckered” out now and napping peacefully in her new Home ! )

we so appreciate them sending updates of the pair , and think Tucker still has the cutest face !!

Last visit here with us a few yrs ago, Grace got to see Sunny as an adult…when they came to pick up their boy “Tucker” who was here boarding with us one summer , and sired some litters for us while here!

Sunny is adopted now by the Elwood’s of Penn, she has joined their boy “Tucker” she was pals with, as a pup here.

the pair were buddies and each being the last of their litter in 2021 they bonded well

she grew up here playing with their boy “Tucker” by “Sadie Mae” who’s owners agreed to allow her to come back and have a litter when she was adopted.

(Christi and boyfriend Austin were visiting and got to enjoy the pair when they were around 9 weeks old.)
we held onto tri colored “Tucker” for his family a little longer than 8 weeks with an extended stay boarding , so their schedules could work, so he was here the last of his litter, and we kept “Sunny” to add to our breeding program when we retired her mom “Lia” , the pair became fast friends and had alot of fun together.

Tucker was such a cute little tri color beagle boy we asked them to allow him to return when older to sire litters and they agreed, we get to see some of his pups all grown up now that come stay with us while their families travel , and we love that !!

Kevin works for American Airlines as does Renee, so he and daughter Grace flew in to Charlotte to adopt their boy from us.

when he was grown they brought him for a visit where he got to sire some litters for us !! such a handsome stud !

now he and Sunny have been reunited and she has joined them in Pa. just what we had always secretly hoped for her!

Kevin says hello to Sunny when they brought “Tucker” to stay with us …

Sunny says hello to Renee

Grace giving Sunny some love

we gave her a puppy to pet , but she mostly wanted to see Sunny !!

how sweet is that

Sunny was so happy to see her old bestie !!

we held onto her smallest puppy after the litter went home , and she has since found her family with returning customer’s as well.

Sunny and Happy had this beautiful litter of puppies together! Both are such sweeties! We love how our sunshine beagles are so comfortable with being close to us. 40 + years ago Miss C. had a tri color beagle from hunting bloodlines ( as most tend to be) she would not cuddle, and was not the companion pet version we developed over the over 30+ years of selective breeding for our House Pet Home Bodies.

retiring young adult female beagle $995. she is adopted now by the Elwood Family of Pa.

she watches on as we wormed her pups at 2, and 4 weeks… but trusts us with taking them away .

Nap time for the babies … we love the spot in the bandana around sunny’s chocolate boys neck…

she slept thru Fireworks outside in the neighborhood and on TV on New Years Eve.l

time for a treat , they each enjoy their own goodie

sunny knows the sound of the Fed Ex truck she comes running out to see if its for her !!

yep it says Chewy on it !! her ears flying she’s’ so excited !!

Sunny has found her forever family now and we just have our 2 khaki boys here ,to keep Miss C. company now as her companions.
